Introduction
This article covers and overview of the organizational settings in EqualTo.
Company Details
- Company Name: Changes the name of your organization in EqualTo
- Company Logo: Changes the logo of your company in EqualTo. Having a logo is an optional feature
- Industry: Selects the industry your company performs in
- Size: Approximate size of your company
- Save Changes: Saves the changes done when editing. If no changes were done, the button is grayed out
- Address: Company contact address
- Region: Where your company is located
- Save Changes: Saves the changes done when editing. If no changes were done, the button is grayed out
Locale and Timezone
- Locale for the organization: The language and locale for your organization
- Timezone: The timezone of your organization.
Notifications
- Enable email notifications: When set to true, users in your org will have the option to receive email updates about their results and rewards. When set to false, no notification emails will be sent to any users in your org.
- After enabling this option, any new users you create will have their email preferences defaulted to on.
- Transactional emails: This is always set to true. You and other users in your EqualTo org will receive standard transactional emails, like password changes and new users.
Integrations
- Connect EqualTo to your company’s Slack org to view and discuss your rewards. Note this is different from establishing Data Connections.
Authentication
- Employee login page: The page users in your org use to login to EqualTo
- Login methods: Use these to set up SSO options for users in your company
Plans & Currencies
- Currencies used in your org are shown here.
- Currency conversions: By default, EqualTo uses currency conversion rates from Open Exchange Rates. To use custom currency conversions, click Edit.
- Currencies: Select the currencies for which you want to set conversion rates.
- Dates: Set the start and end dates.
- Exchange rates: Set the custom exchange rates you would like to use for each month.
- Add pairs for any additional currencies for which you want to set conversion rates. Note that conversions only work one way. If you want to convert USD to EUR and also EUR to USD, you will need to add two separate pairs (as done in the example).
- Apply: Once you have added all currency pairs, click Apply and then Save changes.
Finance
- Fiscal year: You can select when you would like the fiscal year to begin and its naming convention.
Support
- Allow EqualTo Customer Support to access data in your organization: If you are experiencing an issue with EqualTo, our Customer Support team may need access to your org in order to properly diagnose the problem.
Security & Compliance
- Security and Compliance: You can access EqualTo’s privacy policy, terms of service, and data processing agreement here.
API
- EqualTo API: You can use EqualTo’s API to seamlessly create, update, and retrieve data.
- Enable EqualTo API: Set Enable API to true in order to begin the API set up process.
- Add new client: Click here to add new client credentials.
- Name: Set a name for your API client
- Select Add API Client and download credentials. Be sure to store these credentials safely as they cannot be recovered.
